Position Overview:


As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, technical goals, and customer expectations. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality software products while maintaining project timelines, budgets, and scope.


Key Responsibilities:


Project Leadership & Delivery:

  • Lead cross-functional teams through the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Manage all project phases—initiation, analysis, scoping, estimation, solution design, and execution—for Custom web and mobile applications.
  • Oversee technical project delivery while ensuring compliance with timelines, budgets, and client requirements.

Technical Consulting & Solution Design:

  • Leverage prior engineering / technical experience as a Software Engineer/Tech Lead/Pre-Sales Consultant/Architect to provide technical leadership and consulting on project strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify technical solutions, and present actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure solution design aligns with business goals, and technical and non-functional requirements (e.g., security, scalability, performance).

Quality Assurance Oversight:

  • Drive quality throughout the project lifecycle, from design to deployment, by establishing coding standards and implementing best practices.
  • Lead the QA strategy by working with the Quality Engineering team to ensure robust testing frameworks and continuous integration practices.
  • Conduct code reviews / static code analysis , ensuring adherence to quality standards and identifying areas for improvement in code quality and maintainability.

Agile Program Management:

  • Develop detailed project plans that cover both technical complexities and business priorities, ensuring all parties are aligned on project goals.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives, keeping teams focused and accountable.
  • Ensure smooth delivery through backlog prioritization, resource allocation, and sprint execution.

Client-Facing Consulting & Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary liaison with clients, providing technical consulting, regular project updates, and managing expectations.
  • Provide advisory services to clients on optimizing technical solutions and improving business processes through digital transformation.
  • Address project risks and challenges, ensuring effective mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Risk Management & Governance:
  • Identify technical risks and dependencies, develop risk mitigation strategies, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Ensure comprehensive project documentation, including Solution Design, Infrastructure Strategy, Code Quality, Versioning Guidelines, and QA Reports.
  • Maintain governance and oversight to ensure consistent project quality and delivery standards.



Required Skills & Expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a Technical Delivery Manager or Agile Program Management role.
  • Proven experience in software engineering as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead, Pre-Sales Consultant, or Architect.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional Waterfall project management.
  • Strong consulting skills with the ability to translate client needs into effective technical solutions.
  • Experience managing large-scale software projects across all phases, from discovery to delivery.
  • Expertise in ensuring code quality and enforcing coding standards through design and code reviews.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading quality assurance practices, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Client-facing experience with the ability to manage expectations, deliver project updates, and provide strategic technical advice.
  • Familiarity with modern web and mobile development technologies (Such as React, Node.js, Python etc.) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).



Qualifications:

  • Certification in Agile (CSM, PMI-ACP) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with Modern Technology framework, Cloud Technologies, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in consulting roles, delivering technical solutions to clients.
